1. Contrast:

It only feels like yesterday that we were sitting at our desk with a hot cup of coffee, attempting to write what we had been up to for the first #CHPapprentice blog. But it’s our turn again, so another coffee has been made and it’s time to document our last few weeks.

Since last time we have been here, there and everywhere! Although this might not be how some people would like to work we both love it. No two days are the same and it keeps things interesting and exciting. During the last few weeks we have been to college, on a last minute run to the supermarket for our staff BBQ and lots, lots more!

The staff BBQ was a brilliant day to celebrate the end of summer and although some would argue summer never actually started it was still a reason to celebrate... We had a lovely day and despite the light rain showers in the morning, once the BBQ was fired up the rain seemed to clear which was perfect timing. If you want to see some photos from our staff BBQ then head over to our Facebook and Twitter pages to see how we got on. It turned out that CHP staff have very healthy appetites which is why we had to do a speedy dash around the supermarket to replenish the buns, burgers and bangers. It was great to see so many people at the BBQ and really showed us again what a great place CHP is to work.

Since our last update we also attended college for four days back to back, which was very tiring despite us now being used to working full time. We covered lots of content in these four days and it was good to see how our work at CHP is complementing our college work. We’ve got our first exam coming up soon and we will let you know how we get on in a future #CHPapprentice blog.
