CHP in Bloom Competition Winners
Throughout July, we ran three competitions to celebrate the beautiful outdoor spaces of our green-fingered customers. We asked to see photos of your individual gardens, communal gardens and hanging baskets, and we weren’t disappointed!
Prizes included a £50, £25 and £15 Love2Shop voucher for the top three entries in each category.
After much deliberation, the champions have been crowned. Here are the winning entries and runners up for each of the categories!
Best Garden (front or back)
Winner: Janie Shuttlewood
Second Place: Rob Milan
Third Place: Louise Edwards
Best Communal Garden
Winner: Pauline Selby & the residents at Brendon Place
Joint Second Place: Alexander Court
Joint Second Place: Cotman Lodge
Best Hanging Basket
Winner: Rita Howard
Second Place: Louise Edwards
Third Place: Carla Wilson
Thank you to everyone who took part in the CHP in Bloom competitions. The entries we received show just how much time and care our customers put into their outdoor spaces, and it’s wonderful to see.
Gardening club
If you’ve been inspired by your green-fingered neighbours, or you’re a keen gardener already, come along to our gardening club!
In partnership with the RHS, our gardening club takes place in the green space at our Parkside Community Hub. Every Thursday from 1-3pm our friendly group tend to the fruit and vegetables we’re growing together. Once they are harvested, they can be enjoyed by members of the club, and shared with the rest of the community via our community fridge.
If you’re interested in joining our gardening club, drop a line to community@chp.org.uk.
